***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2017/18

Didn't realise that Van Beek got a hattrick in his five-fer too! Thought the umpire firing McClure for the hattrick looked more questionable (probably hit the thigh guard) than Mitchell's edge for McEwan's, though it's hard to tell for sure from the video. Anyway, umpires can get a little excited when it's hattrick ball.
There were some interesting decisions in all innings of that game ... Woodcock’s lbw dismissal in the first innings looked to be struggling to hit a fourth leg stump.

Love watching Jamieson bowl, might be his time after the World Cup.
Hey, get in line buddy.

If a certain someone would’ve listened to old Howsie here Jamieson would’ve been a ND boy three years ago. Instead they tried picking him up this season when his stock was already far too high.

Seems to have some wheels on him as well.
Possibly the quickest bowling I've ever faced was McPeake with a howling Wellington wind behind him. Comes down from some height, too. Having said that, he's never looked particularly sharp on domestic videos so that doesn't say much.

Actually, looking at the Wellington-Canterbury game there's probably the most players in a FC game I've ever played with/against. Yay for my failed sporting career, not at all bitter, what have they actually achieved #reflectedgloryright etc...

It crazy.

A country of NZs modest strength, divided into 6 associations, that CD even with Ross Taylor on international duty have a top 6 that strong that neither Clarkson nor Leopard can get in it. (I'm assuming they can't get in, rather than either of them are injured).

The thing is, I can't fault the selection. That is a strong top 6.

ND going anti engine room? Basically specialist batsmen down to 8, then a spinner and 2 seamers?

Milne, Bracewell, Wheeler and Small all in the same FC team. Never thought I’d see the day
