He actually hasn't been as good in Australia against you guys (only that hundred in Adelaide where Clarke got that double and treated the SA attack like net bowlers), but he's dominated in SA so far in his career. Really can't think of another opener who's done similar.

Hughes a decent shout, but not sure about Gambhir. I don't think he got a hundred in 2010-11? Was consistent more than dominating.

Rabada is such an interesting case. Serious wheels but it looks like he could bowl even faster if he got more out of his front arm.

His 90 odd at Capetown was a pretty awesome knock. Definitely not as good as Warner's been though.

Has to be something about being left handed. Steyn for one certainly doesn't bowl anywhere near as well to the lefties as he does to right handers. Must've helped Gambhir in 2011 and Warner last time.

Yeah, without question. Philander being very off-colour in that series helped too.

Vern and Morkel are pretty good to lefties. Nicholas gave the stat Morkel has dismissed left handers most with 2 spinners and Zaheer.

Cook and Strauss were Morkels bunnies.

Yeah Steyn is the standout in this regard for me. Will bowl 130km/h all day, then senses a moment, cranks it up, and knocks out three in a spell.
