I would have to agree, quality spinners should be effective regardless which way they turn the ball. This whole have to spin the ball away nonsense is just dumb.

EDIT: Redbacks doing the same thing. They brought in a frontline spinner in Tom Andrews but then went to Coops ahead of him. Ugh.

Yeah this happened last time he played as well, and if anything it just makes it worse. It's not like they actually just have lots of faith in Copeland's batting for some reason; they actually don't seem to rate his batting much at all.

Good to see Renshaw back in the runs, happy that he is turning his early form slump around, played some real nice shots against spin especially.
