Also, we play more on finger spin friendly decks than we ever used to. India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the UAE, the West Indies are all now finger-spin friendly decks. It's only SA, England, Aus and Kiwiland that have real decks these days.
A very good point well made.

There's no rush here. Faf and Vern need to take this as deep as possible. Just tick it over. Ideally want this to go deep into day 5 with something over 300 to be chased.

Oh look another maiden for Ash.

Essentially 201/5 with another 4 sessions left in the game. SA are ahead here.

Will be interesting to see what they decide to do if they make it through the final session unscathed. Do they declare overnight and leave India with a 275-310 ish target to chase on the final day? Or do they keep batting on tomorrow morning and back themselves to bowl India out in under 3 sessions?

But Virat is already captain
You got it wrong. What I meant was that after watching Kumblegate Dravid might not be interested in that role until Virat steps down. I hope now it's clear and I guess when Ravi was selected Dravid was chosen as batting coach but it seems that Ravi boy was not happy with that.

I think that SA will just head towards tea... see how many runs they score. Ideally we have 300+ (close to 350) and have a bowl at India for 30 min or so this evening. What is likely to happen, is that SA will be bowled out well before then... hopefully with a minimum of 270+ on the board.

There are two sessions left today and the lead is already above 200. If they only score 100 runs in four hours of cricket, then something is up. Anyhow, India will be batting today. South Africa are going to get bowled out.

South Africa's target should be to bat the whole of the 2nd session as a minimum. Assess things from there after tea.

One last favour Virat can do to his favourite Sharma ji is to let him open innings and play in ODI. Who knows it might work for him and change his test career. If Gabbar can then why can't he.

Also these fast bowlers seems to be smart. As soon one thinks that burmah is next to be dropped, he takes two wickets then when it's shami's turn out of the blue moon he takes three. Now that it's Ishant turn I hope that he follows suit and strikes.

Don't think so

Man if he can get that yorker on off stump, does that so well in limited overs, needs to do it here.

Take Ashwin off plz, bring him back on when the lefties come to bat. Shammi/Ishant should be tried.

This is kind of like watching 2012-13 Ashwin, trying something different every ball. Just bowl your stock offie in one spot for six balls.
