Quite the series when 8 of your 9 innings are below your series average
That'd actually be quite an interesting exercisegoes to show how much of an outlier that knock was. really shouldn't buy him as much credit in the bank as it inevitability will
maybe they need to invent a new batting stat where they look at your median score instead of your mean
First slip shouldn’t have to go hip height right in that situation. Ever.No way.
Joe Root would be the GOATgoes to show how much of an outlier that knock was. really shouldn't buy him as much credit in the bank as it inevitability will
maybe they need to invent a new batting stat where they look at your median score instead of your mean
If he was standing in the right place it would have hit him in the right hip.First slip shouldn’t have to go hip height right in that situation. Ever.
Do you think that there is value in Cook opening to the NZ quick's.Would be tempted to make no changes to the batting for New Zealand. Vince out would be the only one.
Yes.Do you think that there is value in Cook opening to the NZ quick's.
Taking nothing away from what Cook has achieved in the past but he does seem on the way out. Giving up the captaincy was an obvious step back in intensity as a player and his general attitude in this series to me points to a player who no longer desires to be the best. This will also be reflected in the team and you want players that are striving to be better and looking to improve, Cook might still have a few good innings left in him but will it come at a cost to the england camp. One day (probably in a few years) Cook will be finished for good and the people who've spent the last ten years predicting his demise will claim they saw it coming. It's like Arsenal missing the Champions League.
