Great fightback to cross 200. I will be happy now even if India loses this test, which they most probably will. Just wanted to see this fight against this ATG bowling.

Getting past 200 did not look likely this morning, but ideally needed around 230 mark. Essentially let the Saffers get 30 or so runs they shouldn't have and somewhat short themselves despite Pandya's heroics.

Pandya if they had a less useless number 10 and 11 might not have panicked as much, clearly had no faith in Bumrah and Shami once Bhuvi left.

Oh well top knock anyhow.

Top order let us down yesterday big time, otherwise we'd have been well in this game. Both openers went playing poor shots to fairly innocuous balls.

Bumrah should have never debuted in such an important test in place of Umesh. Not a RP Singh level bad selection but one of the worst errors India have made in their selection history.

You know what, I like Bumrah getting the new ball. Selections, new ball, and slip cordon—just get it all out of the system with this one match.
