Because he is still only 29 and has at least 2 tours to each of Aus/Eng/SA/NZ left in his career. Players get better with time, as they get more games and opportunities under the belt.

Nice to see they're atleast trying to show some grit. Difficult to see where the runs are going to come from atm though.
