How the **** he avoided a booking in the first half is beyond me.

Should have been a straight red anyway, hopefully someone ends the prick.

The natives are very restless and managers usually don't last long once that happens unless it is Arsenal.
My brother was at the game and talking to fans after the game who wanted to stick with him as there's nobody else they can think of to replace him.

Personally I don't want him to go until at the least the FA Cup 3rd round.

I know that, but please don't give him credit, he's an arse.
He is but in fairness he does an incredible job everywhere he goes. Seems to be able to get poor players to play above themselves and organises abysmal units into a good functioning one. A shame in a way it went how it did because he is an arse as England manager because could his organisational skills have worked at that level, we will never know.

Since he strolled into the BT studio and said Arsenal's players lacked balls he's had as many red cards as his team has had league wins.

That just makes me ****ing angry after yesterday's shambles.

About time those ****s got put in their place, referees obviously couldn't save them today.

Don't see de Bruyne costing his team a title by falling over

This is pretty much the last hope any of us have got. Even then we could lop a leg off and he'd still hop them over the line, playing 30 yard precise through balls whilst sat on his arse.

Lanzini's diving charge is hard to argue with, properly hilarious that the ref fell for it, but the incident encapsulates the British double-standard on cynicism. The Stoke lad tries to end the attack earlier by diving feet-first into the back of his legs 10 feet from the ball, and had he succeeded in taking him down it would have been no more than a yellow card. Then he gets up just in time to call Lanzini a cheat for diving. Load of bollocks.

So City have this one in the bag? I cant see anyone outside of the Champs League beating them to be honest.

De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane and Jesus are coming of age just at the right time and two of them are genuine world class talents. Add to that the wiley old heads of Aguero and Silva and you have a team that is looking to only get started. IF they can do the double this year, next year could be even bigger.

Yeah no reason for them to slow down. The league was pretty much in the bag a few weeks ago as the difference between them and the best of the rest Chelsea and United is huge. United might have given them some hope if they had turned them over last Sunday but were outclassed and there beatdown of Spurs another reminder of there class.

In the Champions' league, I'd only be confident backing PSG to turn them over, that attacking firepower they have could hurt that City defense.

Interesting article floating about the City owner's not good people whatsoever. The press has discussed the PSG people now and then but rarely focused on the City moneymen.

Norwood's on Fire
We are away to Solihull tonight in the FA Trophy. We were one up on Saturday but their floodlights failed. They'd failed in the prior home game too so you'd think they might have thought it wise to fix them, or failing that seek an early kick off.

One day's notice a week before Christmas, two hour journey if there's no traffic. Could be an all time low away turnout for us. Found myself strangely tempted but the wife had already made plans...

Frustrating too as Ollie Norburn sees a fine goal expunged from the record but James Norwood's booking stands. The game didn't happen, the appearances and goals don't count, but the bookings do. Wonderful. I can sort of see why such a rule exists but it still sucks.

Love non-league me 8-)
