I thought it was pad ftr
Possibly. On my big screen TV there was the faintest of marks on hot spot as well but it could have been a reflection.

I think there was sufficient doubt that it should have been overturned. Stoneman was robbed too for much the same reason.

The whole point of the review system is that there should be clear evidence to overturn the umpires call. In both 'contentious' cases the original decision should have stood imo.

Isn't the whole point of the DRS system to make the correct decision?

The only reason they have umpires call us because of the margin for error. You always feel unlucky getting out to two "umpires call" lights.

"Sufficient doubt that it should have been overturned" is not how the system works
My point is that there was as much doubt as the Stoneman decision, which I didn't think should have been overturned. There was a noise in the same frame as the ball passed the bat, which was all it took to give Stoneman out.

They're calling this evenly balanced but we have our last two recognised batsmen at the crease and we're 200 runs behind.

I'd rather be in Australia's dressing room because if I was in the English dressing room I'd be surrounded by bloody poms.

Why though? It's not 'LBW (unless it's only clipping)'.
