Yeah, Ian, attacking as a tail-ender against fast, short-pitched bowling is easier said than done.

This is freaking ridiculous...

They brought up a record from 114 years ago earlier in the session..

This last 15-20 minutes of play is what cleaning up the tail felt like during the 1890s

Broad backs away 3 feet outside leg Jeetan Patel style and almost holes out to long off (somehow) and Chappelli finds a way to praise it as attacking batting and giving the bowler 'something to think about'. Painful stuff all around.

I'm not shocked but I agree with Ian Chappell here. It seems like the only time umpires do something about dangerous bowling is when a bowler accidentally bowls a beamer which...I dunno man....
