Yes Lakmal bowled some lovely areas yesterday and we really should have had Pradeep at the other end to support him. having said that Gamage bowled ok but just didn't pick up wickets..quite baffled by Karunaratne bowling at all?was it for someone to switch ends maybe?

I think that's partly true, but Kolkata pitches have generally been very bowler friendly in the last few years. The weather's also contributed to it in this test.

I wouldn't read too much into this collapse, these are ridiculously hard conditions for batting and Lakmal was practically bowling leg spinners at 135.
