The penalty for entering the playing area is $9,327.60

That's a) steep and b) oddly precise.
I suspect it's based on the good old Penalty Units concept, and the value of each unit is adjusted according to inflation. Naturally, nobody thought to apply a =ROUND() function in that spreadsheet.

Maxwell out ducking into a short ball from Worrell, ball deflecting onto stumps.
He tried to avoid a short one the last Worrell over it caught his bat went for 4 to fine leg.
A bit worrying, didn't look good

as far as I can tell, if you thought it should be Cartwright, nothing has changed. If you thought it should be Maxwell, nothing has changed. And if you were a stupid idiot and wanted the most inform player, you deserve the hell you're getting.

Yeah neither Cartwright nor Maxwell seem to be in completely putrid form even though they haven't made a big score. I'd be perfectly okay with either tbh, but I'd pick Cartwright if it were up to me.

One got 60. One got a duck. Stop the excuses
You realise they played last week too, right?

There were lots of people who were short-sighted enough to argue that the first two Shield rounds of the season held some sort of blessed, magical importance that should render entire bodies of work beforehand irrelevant, but I don't think anyone actually came out and said "Yeah the first innings of the second round is what really matters -- the second innings and the entire first round are for chumps."

Las tweek Cartwright scored 61 and 38, and Maxwell scored 7 and 20. So, they've both made one score of 60ish and three sub-50 scores. Cartwright's actually scored a few more runs but neither start to the season will be changing any minds.

If Cartwright makes 60 in the second dig and Maxwell makes a duck, what does that mean?

Probably won't really weigh on anyone other than these people:
