Not Terrible
Anyway congrats India, it was a pretty interesting series as far as JAMOdis go. Reckon we'd be able beat them at home. Think it really shows how close a lot of the teams are right now.

When I went to bed I didn't think we'd get close, so in some ways that's a good score to wake up to. But at the same time, it hurts to get so agonisingly close to an elusive series win in India.

But well done to India. Seven consecutive series wins is bloody impressive.

Overall, had India lost the match, Kohli and Rohit would have been to blame too, both took about ~10 balls more than what they should have for what they got although it could just be that they were not sure what would be a competitive total. Williamson's innings wasn't all that great either, if you play 84 balls chasing 340, you should go at least run a ball.

Grandhomme had a bad day with the bat - he needs to do better to justify the no. 7 position...Nicholls at no. 6 is anyways a weak link...That lower-middle order needs more power and stability
We've struggled at 6-7-8 for a while and Nicholls plus De Grandhomme have more to recommend them than most we've tried tbh. Shocker for De Grandhomme today though, not just the sapping 8(11) but also the mixup with Latham - a split second decision yes, and probably didn't hear Latham's call, but if he'd had the presence of mind to save Latham then Latham striking at 120 with ease may have won the game.

Anyway, well done India.

yep :/

Man Latham looked good in the highlights though. He's a gun in the subcontinent and I hope he can continue that mid-innings tempo at home.

world's fastest gavin larsen slowly turning into real gavin larsen. Jurgensen needs some biomechanics lessons from Ponty imo, milne's action is all over the shop atm.

Is it just poor maintenance like that, or did Milne meet someone gobby in the UK who wanted to get some better lateral movement out of him and keep him on the park for longer. That sudden inundation of praise for his 5/11 in August probably taught him that one man's trash is another man's treasure.

Tom Latham was Man of the Series for me. Won NZ the first match, came close to doing it again yesterday, plus handling the keeping responsibilities (don't remember any errors in that department).

Why do we have a 16 man squad for the t20s lol

Anyways, pretty hyped for Nehra's final game. What a man.

Nehra is a legend. Can't believe he's actually retiring. Was kinda expecting him to play on till his 50s and still somehow be bowling at 130kmph
