I mean, at the same time Adam Maher had a season or two like that. I think most of us on here at the time didn't rate Forkers Faulkner that much with the ball.

Yeah it was widely believed on CW at the time that he was a worse bowler and a better batsman than his statistics suggested, due to the state of his home pitches. I think this has borne out to be true.

It's also true that his focus on limited overs cricket has changed his bowling a bit to the point of declining four-day ability.. but I think simply looking at the stats massively over-states this decline. They were misleading to start with.
