I disagree with it in a broader long-term sense but I think it might have given them some confidence (or at least mitigated the level of anti-confidence) here. It might help to think Shakib's return will fix everything that went wrong in the Tests.

Not sure whether this is one off thing or they decided to continue and see what happens. I havent read anywhere about it. Was a surprise
