Nair coming in would increase our need to find overs form the top 5 imo, and I don't think it'd really add too much to the batting. He could come in for Sandhu and bat 7, but we'd still be very very reliant on the top 5.

I mean, I'd do it just to see Nair get some games, but I don't think it changes much

With the international reps gone, it just isn't a NSW side especially suited to white ball cricket. Cowan and Nevill really aren't middle order batsmen in this form (though Cowan's doing an admirable job here), and the next best bowling all-rounder they've got is Trent Copeland -- who definitely isn't suited to List A.

I still find Cowan at 5 really weird though.

International Captain
Nev at 6,Abbott 7,Sandhu 8.
Don't see it working against the better sides,Tassie are crap.
NSW played WA a better side and they were found wanting,6/28.
Even playing the Vics, the Vics bowlers will have a field day with 6-8,and chase it down with a 2nd xl batting line up.

International Captain
Sangha not in the squad.
They have a 2nd keeper in the squad and Nair.
Its up 2 Gibson and Patterson 2 fire.

A lot of the sides this year seem to have at least a few players that genuinely don't seem up to standard. More so than just the internationals being away (and a few injuries) should explain.

Victoria's batting line up is a joke. NSW look the weakest I've ever seen them. Tassie weaker than ever.

Looked like they'd get more at 34 or so overs. Have to lower my standards for domestic matches. That middle-lower order is really bleh.
