Look at the stats for ltd overs.
Abboott who has scored 0 and 1 this season averages 20.3 and Nevill 20 and 15 as well averages 22.36.
Starc is marginally below at 17.36 and 15.36 at LTD overs,but has a higher strike rate 20 above Nev,and Abbott has a few 50's and a lot of failures,that tells a different story.
Just to add to the debate Nair who hasn't been round long averages 19.00 and has opened.
Just to finish looking at things Sandhu averages 13.90 and 18 at first class level,Abbott averages 13.78 at first class level.

Abbott's situation really is annoying. He is taking wickets so his place in the XI isn't a problem, but he should be batting at probably 9.

Also annoying is the fact that no games on TV. I can understand mid-week kind of, but look at what's on TV in 20 minutes time (when Vic vs QLD is starting at North Sydney Oval) - There is that much competition, you'd think the viewership would be quite reasonable.

I know nothing about anything remotely important, but I wonder if the only reason it was televised the last few years is because there was some sort of deal there between Matador and Channel 9.

No idea about that but it was easier last year for broadcasters holding all (majority) of the matches in Sydney.

I just think it is insane that Australians cannot watch any state cricket on a TV channel.
