Norwood's on Fire
I've seen a fair bit of stick thrown at the Liverpool fans for giving Countinho a hero's welcome last night.

While I don't think you should ever boo your own players, it does seem a bit OTT to someone who has spent the summer trying to get the hell out of dodge. Quiet applause would have done the trick.

Furby is right, Coutinho wasn't pulling stunts to get a move and it seems like Barcelona was one of the few clubs he would want to leave Liverpool for. If he goes back to playing really well once fit then all will be forgiven like it was with Gerrard when he wanted to move to Chelsea.

Coutinho has never been one of those ****ish players and people know the game these days.

We should have pummeled Sevilla so hard, what a shambles. How Lovren is a Liverpool player is a mystery. Similarly seeing Henderson with the armband is depressing.

Aye but it'll definitely make Coutinho play better imo. Why should they care that it makes non-Liverpool fans like us cringe. Sure beats the emotional incontinence you get at London clubs.

I've haven't seen any of the European football this week. But based on listening to the radio Phil Neville should be removed from society and Cologne tossed out of the competition.

I don't like to wish bad luck on any fellow man, but I hope Palace lose 6-0 and their manager has onions thrown at him.
It's the players who deserve to be pelted, not Hodgson. And not just with onions.
Sure enough, they cba to defend adequately to go one down and yet again Benteke misses a sitter.
A massive pox on all of their houses.
