The evidence referred to is the only evidence available. It is compelling and untrammelled. It must be preferred in these circumstances, particularly when combined with the circumstantial evidence of the ball sudden swinging straight after the tampering episode for a bowler who has basically been a walking throw-down for a test and a half before the actions of the cheating Al Hasan.

Matter is adjourned for sentencing to 1.30pm this afternoon.

Sorry *****, but all professional cricketers - even local cricketers - know what they're doing when they're rubbing the ball into a patch of dirt.

When they discover these things they should let the opposition mark up the other side of the ball on the spot. Be good for a giggle.

Make no mistake, this is the biggest issue in cricket since Cronje confessing to match fixing

The world was much simpler yesterday when we were talking about house prices before play started.

So if for example a batting side is found to have done something nefarious, the bowling side can immediately wet the ball, pinch the seam together then throw it in a pie oven for 15 minutes so it comes out like a rock which seams a metre when it hits the deck*

Or if the bowling side has been caught out the batsmen can make them bowl using a tired, old ball with no seam.

*this observation may or may not be from first hand experience.

Athlai

Not Terrible
Surely a half second clip of him rubbing his hands and the ball on the ground is a bit of a storm in a tea cup?

Burgey's just getting really worked up because Bangladesh is stealing Australia's MO. First the sledging now this. Cheating is like the Australian version of doing the Haka - they get really offended when non-Australians do it, especially against them.

I don't know that I'm the one getting worked up here mate.
I mean you did just make 3 posts back to back talking to yourself and you did compare Shakib to Cronje

Frail egos like this is why Australians all bowl fast IMO. Too insecure to be a spinner.

Not Lyon tho. What a man.
