The way these comms are going on, that's going to keep Wade in the team for ten years now.

Australia's day slightly

If these two and Mehdi can drag BD to excess of 320 I'll feel a lot more comfortable. As it stands it still feels like BD are behind here.

So how is the pitch actually playing? Early on people were going on as if it is a shocker but it seems to be playing ok?

The ball is not coming onto the bat which has made scoring difficult, but there's not very much in it that should make a batsman fear for his wicket.

Lyon got reward for some good, disciplined bowling, removing four batsmen in a row who were playing for spin that wasn't there.

Bangladesh are definitely in a worse position than they ought to be.

Mostly flat. A bit slow maybe. No excess turn or uneven bounce. Lyon found perfect pace to bowl here whereas SOK was the most slower among them and gone for plenty

It's a slow turner.

It's the sort of pitch you'd often see in India - the ones where India rack up 600/4 and have everyone complaining about muh roads before the opposition get bundled for 210.

There's no reason Australia couldn't rack up a big score other than the fact that it's so much out of their comfort zone.
