A Cook / Hameed / Stoneman top three (in any order!) would be my preference with Westley moving to five.Wonder if Hameed will replace Jennings for next week? Wouldn't be against it despite just one decent score, looks to be a better long term bet than most we have tried.
Why?Gabriel has too much muscle mass, needs to lose some. Sacrifice 'the look' and get leaner. Quality bowler though.
Hi, which tour exactly are you guys talking about? Thanks.
Think Westley will stay at 3 and Hales will bat 5. Why was Hales at 5 for Notts?A Cook / Hameed / Stoneman top three (in any order!) would be my preference with Westley moving to five.
But who can predict the England selectors whim at any given moment right now?
Because he gets injured a lot, and his body type is not atypical for fast bowlers. Why?
I think you are right and I think Hales wants to bat there now...Think Westley will stay at 3 and Hales will bat 5. Why was Hales at 5 for Notts?
Wait then why should he get leaner if he has a bodytype suited for fast bowling?Because he gets injured a lot, and his body type is not atypical for fast bowlers.
I meant is atypical. If you can find me a fast bowler who looks like him in the past who didn't have injury issues then fair enough, but every stacked with muscle guy I can remember broke down a lot.Wait then why should he get leaner if he has a bodytype suited for fast bowling?
Good lord....Cook, Hameed and Braithwaite opening the batting in one test series. If that doesn't send me to sleep nothing will. I wonder if anyone will manage a completed innings with a strike rate above 40? Every time I go to Lords Cook gets a hundred and watching him live is definitely not a thing of beauty. Still, Braithwaite is considerably less entertaining than him even.A Cook / Hameed / Stoneman top three (in any order!) would be my preference with Westley moving to five.
You think he's replacing Moeen? Not sure why Malan stays in. Can accept the rest and presume Crane is getting the 2nd spinner role for winter.
