I wonder when Botham reached that milestone. I'm guessing his 100 wickets came earlier than his 2000 runs.

Indeed. Three of his innings are up with the finest I can remember from and England player. Brisbane in 1974, Calcutta in 1975 and Leeds in 1976, fwiw.
