I know the conventional wisdom is that India chases better but I wonder if it wasn't a mistake to bowl. I always believe that in a pressure game, scoreboard pressure is your biggest friend especially if you have an average attack. I think Pakistan would have found batting a lot more difficult if they had been chasing 330+.

Yeah, damage is done here. We'd be lucky to get out of this one with 350. Somehow can't see us getting out of this hole on this occasion.

Sucks to see India outplayed but that's cricket and we've been on the other side of this equation plenty of times in the past.

Nah it was the right decision for sure. Just haven;t bowled well enough and Pakistan have batted great.

I think India realised after the SL game and after Pak's bowling performance against England that batting first would play right into Pak's hands.

Plus Kohli know's he's a God in the second inning so he backs himself to chase 300 ish if it came to that

Today was just so bad. I bet it's worse than what they envisioned the worse case scenario would be. Fakhar just rekt them and Pak have just ridden the momentum since.

The greatest weakness of this side (in ODIs only) is that once you get ahead of them, they don't do a good job clawing their way back in.

I think Pakistan have struggled to make 300+ against anyone bar WI in a long time. Trust India to correct that.

It's funny but I think India have overestimated Pakistan, the way they bowled with all those wides and leg side tuck em up stuff was so annoying to watch, you do that against opponents who are at your level maybe, but against Pakistan they should have simply just looked to bowl good lenghts and flight the ball a bit, if they hit it well enough then you say well played, but India just assumed they would do so anyway and lost it in the process.
