It's funny but I think India have overestimated Pakistan, the way they bowled with all those wides and leg side tuck em up stuff was so annoying to watch, you do that against opponents who are at your level maybe, but against Pakistan they should have simply just looked to bowl good lenghts and flight the ball a bit, if they hit it well enough then you say well played, but India just assumed they would do so anyway and lost it in the process.

yea this is a fair point I think. They tried too much. Didn't really back themselves to stick to one plan and have success with it.

I think the fact that there was next to no expectations on Pakistan helped them. Doubt we would've seen Azhar in particular play like he did if they didn't know that not attacking would basically mean they lose.

I went to the Oval for the first time last week and it is such a brilliant cricket-watching ground. Probably the best I've been to. The atmosphere with all the Indian supporters was phenomenal.
