I just hope Ajax somehow beat Man Utd... seeing them bore their way to the CL while Arsenal miss out would really suck.

Well done Celtic on going unbeaten in the pub league. The opposition might be poor but it is some effort to do it when they have had nothing to play for for a couple of months.

Post reported for trolling.
TBH, Eliott Frear just scored in your division, and I wouldn't pick him for some pub teams. Then theres Cummins at St. Johnstone awful for us. Jayden Stockley was at least better than average, we'd have kept him if we could, but second-in-the-league, please.....

I'm not objecting to him calling it a pub league.

Fair enough.

More interesting managers than teams in the Prem. C'mon it's not good enough to just be entertaining, Spurs, Liverpool, Citeh, Arsenal all play like they've got an attacking side and the defence is kinda seperate. Manu just have a defensive side hoping World class forwards will do something. None of it seems like a proper joined-up team, it's why we're falling behind. Think these managers need to lose their ego's a bit and really try to get at what made them succesful. Because all they're talking about is splashing more big money on more superstars.

Except Chelsea of course, so I kinda have no qualms with them winning as they were the only coherent team.

Spurs are incredibly coherent surely?

Liverpool and Chelsea missed out for this season, it's arguably helped them in the push for domestic honours.
Yeah but they missed out on Europa too. Playing Europa is probably worse for your league form than playing CL.

Yeah, I guess Spurs too, just looked really bad in Europeagainst decent teams for some reason, maybe it was a one-off and they'll rectify it next season. They are at least heading in the right direction, and have come round to Poch's style. Need to keep him obviously.

I quite enjoyed this season, it was great seeing the Leicester tragedy unfold, it is always joyous to see the not so special one humbled (oh and POgba, what a riot) on top of the exceptional resurgence shown by Spurs, with City and Liverpool putting in great work at times and as much as I malign Arsenal they have had some entertaining matches and if we can hold onto Sanchez, we can build a solid team for next season.

Yet through it all and no matter how good Chelsea have looked, I don't think English football is as good now (in terms of quality, not entertainment) as it was from about 2004ish to about 2012ish where we had 3 winners and a total of 8 finalists (out of a possible 16).

Never saw it happening so can't say I'm surprised or even all that disappointed. Made peace with it a long time ago when we went missing for two months. Hopefully it'll be an interesting summer.

Well talking of next season does anyone think these 3 relegated teams have an earthly of coming back up? I mean they just look Championship, and not very good championship, the Hull manager and Defoe the only bright spot for any of them, and they'll both be offskis. Sunderland are a biggish club, but this has been years in the making.
