wow that was demoralizing for the spurs both for the loss of the game as well as kawhi...wonderful rally by the warriors! their first real test in these playoffs!

if kawhi can impact them so much that too at home, imagine what james playing at his current level can do...it can easily turn into a repeat of last year's finals...if they both reach the finals of course...

Maybe, the injury helped though, no doubt. Kawhi was on track for a huge game. And the spurs only lost by 3 even after that huge run. They really could've won this imo.

I don't think Kawhi makes the Spurs 25 points better than the Warriors. That 18-0 run was always coming, Kawhi or not. They do it against everyone.
that's not what i meant, the spurs themselves admitted his injury rattled them and they were unsure how to react...the warriors would probably have gone on a run...but going on a run doesn't always mean overcoming a 20+ lead especially against a great defensive team...in this case, i think kawhi playing uninjured the rest of the game would have meant spurs 1 warriors 0...

They probably would've won if he didn't get hurt, no denying that. People just gotta wind down the hyperbole.
i am just comparing this to last year's finals where on paper, the warriors were supposed to win comfortably but then one player changed the script more or less by himself...i realize the warriors are better this year with durant but then so it seems, is lebron. anyway it is probably my nerves talking, i want a west team to win...

Huge win by the Celts. That late run at the end of the third quarter was massive. Beal had been on fire just before that. Wiz aren't too far away, they just don't get the experienced vets like a David West, Kyle Korver joining their franchise which puts them at a disadvantage over the elite. Their starting 5 is very good so I hope in the off season they can find an injury free vet.

Could be the start of a big 3 days for the Celts - game 7 win, number 1 draft pick, game 1 win at home.

This has been the most boring playoffs I have seen. The concentration of players in two teams is dire.

IMO thew plan for them is probably to sign Hayward into their cap-space, then trade for Jimmy Butler (or maybe Paul George if they can get him to agree to an extension, which I don't think is likely). If George isn't looking to stay in Boston then I wouldn't give up a Brooklyn pick for him. Maaaaayyybe one of them.
