*Official* English Football Season 2016-17

A new record transfer fee for a small forward isn't that attractive. He may not adjust to the Prem anyway. If Ibra leaves then we are likely to have games where we miss his physicality but Griezmann doesn't solve that either. I'd rather take part of that transfer fee and use it for a CB to partner Bailey.
No matter who you are, room has to be made for a beast like him. The reason why United won't make the top 4 and have made incredibly hard work of a nice European draw, is their dreadful finishing, Griezmann solves that. That's huge.

I would agree though a elite cente half is also needed, Rojo and Bailey are good, but Smalling makes to many errors and Jones gets injured brushing his teeth.

Feeling slightly disappointed that my prediction about Boro going down is looking all but confirmed now. Wanted them to stay up, but they''re totally smoked. Fight has totally gone out of them.

Please that Hull look like they'll get the job done and stay up though. **** you Merson you stupid wanker.

Basically safe then. What a job Paul Hurst has done after the car crash he inherited from Mellon. 6 points clear of Port Vale and they have 2 games left but a goal difference of 11 to make up and they have lost their last 5 games and with both away and seeing as they have only won once away all season they are gone. Couldn't happen to a nicer club. Just pity the Coventry fans having to put up with them next season.

You've got to love Jeff Stelling.
Unless he's getting happy about your team losing to the monkey-hangers.

Oh, I still don't know what to feel, it's such a topsy-turvey season, I just think anything can happen. So whilst I should be elated, I just feel relieved today, a draw and even if we were still in the P-O places, we'd have been heavily odds against with tough fixtures to come. Still everyone from 14th place could make the play-offs with 2 games to go, more importantly for me, everyone from 12th could pass us. Our GD is a real plus point, better than all those teams.

Decisions going with us a bit at this end of the season, but blimey at the start when we were in the bottom few we had constant shockers against us, evens out maybe, but ya know hard to see it as a bias based on position.

It's definitely a bonkers season. You only had to see Bolton fans hanging their hopes on Fleetwood not winning. WTF are they even doing in the League. Leeds hopes of a return to the Premier League jeopardised by Burton Albion. WTF are they doing in the League, never mind the Championship.

Barry Davies and John Motson are still alive so what are these clowns doing on. They're are completely unlistentoable (good word that).

Motson has gone. Can't see a thing and doesn't wear glasses.

Danny Murphy as a pundit makes you appreciate how good Lawrenson was and he isn't that good anyway.
