Where does Sanchez fit in? Defence looks poor, but no real standouts this year.

He's played most of the season up front, and IMO been quite a lot better than both Kane and Lukaku.
Alderweireld and Azpilicueta have been standout CBs for sure. I'd say Cahill has probably been the worst semi-regular CB at any of Chelsea, Spurs, and United.

Considering they've picked a 4-4-2 which has 4 defenders who are only really suited to playing in a 5 and then 3 forwards in the 4 midfielders, any sort of idea of fitting in seems irrelevant

A new record transfer fee for a small forward isn't that attractive. He may not adjust to the Prem anyway. If Ibra leaves then we are likely to have games where we miss his physicality but Griezmann doesn't solve that either. I'd rather take part of that transfer fee and use it for a CB to partner Bailey.Special place in hell for the heroes who suggested United did not need Antoine Griezmann.

Ugh that's really awful. 
Was randomly thinking about him the other day before the incident. Had no idea he was a coach at Spurs, but I was mulling over how he was actually a pretty underrated player. Would have played for England a lot more, one suspects, were it not for the fact that the height of his career coincided with a period where England had a glut of high quality centre backs.

Yeah he would be first name on the team sheet now as far as defenders go given the choice we have if was playing today.
