Really like this Delhi side, plenty of quality young Indian batting with some beastly hitters and an okish bowling line up. I don't think they will win it, but could get to the knock out stages.

So tomorrow, how do you get Rahman into the Sunrisers side?

I'd drop Henriques, but I suspect they will bin the absolute gun that is Ben Cutting.
He's one of the form players in the world. That would be insane. And Ben Cutting is shite personified.

This is a Ben Cutting fan thread.

Ben won them the final last year with his hitting and bowling. He has started the current campaign wonderfully also.

The dude is an absolute beast in this format. I don't mind Henriques either, but overall Ben offers more. Similar level of bowling, Ben is better in the field, and offers absolutely crucial hitting at the death which they don't really have as Hooda their Indian hitter is very hit and miss.

Its a nice problem to have though for the selectors.

Whatever it takes!!!
I had him in my fantasy league and had Morris as captain. Good times. :) And I managed to pick the only RPS player to not suck yesterday.. Tahir. :D

Corey Anderson is basically nil these days, and it's hard to see him getting another game. 2 off 4 with the bat at the death while those around him went mental & 0-10 off his lone over while all other bowlers were dominating the opposition.

Meanwhile Guptill doesn't even get a look in.

nah munro would be stink. would choke under the pressure.
Agree, & as much as I've blown Munro's trumpet in the last 2-3 years, I think it's quite clear that his game turns pretty much to custard when he's exposed against top level bowling attacks, His bat-lift for example was far to high to deal with the pace of Starc in Australia, but against a FC level/ordinary international level attack, he's Viv Richards.

Don't have to worry about that in the IPL.
Even one or two class bowlers is enough. Also Munro looks pretty ordinary in the couple of cracks he got in last year's IPL from memory, only to kick butt in the lesser WIs tournament.

Did he get an early go in the tournament last time? You know, before teams wake the **** up and drop your Dindas and Ishants from their starting XIs? Thats when most batsmen can cash in.

munro would probably figure things out if he got a full season. but that's not what tends to happen. You get 2-3 games, and are expected to perform. Munro wouldn't be able to cope with that.

Deepak Hooda - averages only 13.5 in the IPL. Strikes at 135. One half-century in 26 innings.

Batting at 3 lol.

Umpire clearly not checking on the no-balls being bowled by Bumrah. Evident from the replays being shown.
