I reckon it could get over, hes really good at it. I haven't given up all hope on him, Fandango is still taking all the pins for their team and while yesterday was pretty terrible for him, weirder things have happened in wrestling. I do miss NXT Breeze a lot though

Getting his gimmick over on the main roster was going to be a struggle but they should have done better than this. I mean, tapping out to a Bella twin, it can't get much worse than that. Not sure how he can ever come back from this without leaving the cimpany tbh.

"get over" should never specifically mean main event level IMO.

Enzo and Cass are still over but they're a million miles from the main event. I think Breeze could've been used like how The Miz and Ziggler have in the past, as a cowardly yet vicious showoff that can get the babyface cheered whether they're a midcarder or a maineventer. Hes the guy the big guy fights on Smackdown/Raw, not on a PPV.

He should be feuding with Crews, Harper or Kalisto, help get them over with the audience while occasionally putting on a solid match to make Cena/Ambrose/Orton look like a God.

Problem with that is Ziggler's still on Smackdown filling that role.
You can have a couple figures like that IMO. Ziggler should be the guy feuding at lesser PPVs with the big guys and the lesser guys at the big PPVs, Breeze shouldn't be on the big PPVs and feuding with the lesser ones on the lesser PPVs.

Dammit HBK :(

Gotta admire him though. So far he's stuck to his guns and not reversed his retirement despite having multiple opportunities to do so.

Continuing my watching of WM24 this eve.

Further thoughts:

The triple threat between Orton, HHH and Cena was actually really quite good. Much better than I remember it being, and much better than it really had any right to be.

Love how the crowd crapped all over Mayweather in his match with Big Show, despite the fact that he was meant to be the face. Not a good watch this match, unsurprisingly.

Think Mayweather turned heel on the raw before Mania iirc.
Haha did he? I don't really remember much apart from him being involved in some horrible segments, particularly a few involving the use of a video link. I've not watched this show since it was broadcast live I don't think, but JR and King certainly seem to be trying to put Mayweather over as a face.

Mayweather's "entourage" is one of the worst parts of the whole thing actually. After every move Big Show manages they are all up on the apron shouting "you can't do that" at the top of their lungs, despite the fact that it was a no DQ match.

I just had a look on youtube for the segment on Raw before Mania, and it definitely does seem like its Mayweather acting heel. He was having a horror run as face, so Vince obviously intervened, doubt Floyd cared, as long as he was paid he was happy.

Looking back, imagine having Mayweather for a few months and starting him of as a face? Absurd, the man is a heel through and through, and he probably wouldn't mind me saying that in the unlikely event he is reading this thread.

Mayweather is such an awful promo there

That being said, respect for taking the overhead slam out of the ring.
