***Official*** Australia in India 2017

No its not, he had to bowl more overs to try get breakthroughs. Bowled 51 overs in the match compared to 39 of Cummins
He did have a fair break though. Overs spread over two innings is slightly different to overs only in one, which is why people aren't talking about India being tired as much despite them having bowled about 20 more overs overall.

Are people seeing ATG potential or something in Cummins based on his 2 Tests and handful of FC appearances in 5 years... I mean Rabada has proven far, far more than him and it is nonsensical to call him a poor man's Cummins at this point. He's even younger FFS.
Whilst I agree with your general point that Rabada has proven himself far more than Cummins, you only need to watch Pat bowl a couple of overs to see why everyone is so excited.

With bowlers you do sometimes just know tbf. I don't think anyone really had to watch Rabada for 5-10 matches before realising he was seriously special.

Don't think anybody is disputing that Cummins is a special talent. Calling Rabada a poor man's Cummins is utterly baseless though

Good on Aus for grinding out results. Really showing development as a team, and they've found some super young players

SA/Aus stand alone as best two test teams in the world with India a close 3rd (pending a big overseas win). Rest are quite a bit behind with possibly New Zealand 4th.
I just put Ind/SA/Aus all about the same, Aus had a bad series against SA too and got trashed by SL away, but they have played great in the first and third match (and the majority of second.) India is probably slightly tired right now, they have had a very long session.

SA >= Ind >= Aus >>
Pak >= Eng >= NZ >>
SL > BD >= WI

Yeah this. Also a lot depends on whether Cummins is able to maintain his fitness in long term to bowl such spells.

I know I'm late here, but just wanted to say well done to Australia. When I checked the scores at lunch (my lunch, not lunch in the match) I was genuinely expecting to see Australia all out for 130-odd. Well done especially to Handscomb for standing up after an underwhelming tour so far. Well done Marsh also.

Underrating England there. I'd have them ahead of Pakistan fairly comfortably, but the coming summer and the Ashes will tell us more.

You can never tell this far out, but if Cummins and Patto are fit I think Australia will batter England over Christmas.

So stoked with that draw

Yeah it wasn't an absolute minefield, but being able to bat out over a day against India is an accomplishment. Such a turn around in attitude

Drew against Pakistan at home, drew against Bangladesh , got walloped in India. Their recent results don't paint a great picture.

What a ****. Work on your runs, asshole.
I did think that a few people would have tried playing devil's advocate by saying that Pujara should have scored quicker to give us more time today when it seemed like Australia would save the match. :P

It's impossible to tell with England. I've watched a lot of them in recent years and the gap between their best and their worst is astounding. The talent is undeniable though, underrate them at your peril.

The argument re: Cummins and Rabada is one of the sillier in recent times. If they both stay fit we are a blessed cricketing public.

Watched the first 90 minutes so I'm not surprised we got a draw. Good to see Handscombe go on with a start. Don't know if it would have changed the result but Kohli should have had spin from both ends early while the ball was still hard.

Kohli didn't say that now.. Daemon is just trolling.

Kohli's press conference is remarkably upbeat and chill for someone who's failed all series. No pressure on the Captain?!

South Africa are not better than India.
