Lol

very fragile Aussie supporters here

They only like roads for pitches where a barely test standard Adam Voges can average 631.27

For some strange reason I have the song, "My friend the p(w)itch doctor, told me what to do" going through my mind

Quite annoying.

Maybe it is time to just accept it as part of the game, however at the same time lets even up the score for all touring sides and abolish the toss and let the touring side have the call to bat or bowl first.

With Maxwell at 6 and Cummins at 8, I feel like we're more or less playing our current full strength team and that's the best we can hope for with Stork injured and the selectors refusing to acknowledge the continued existence of Henriques. Regardless, it'll be exciting to see Cummins back. Now if Patto was there as well..I'd blow a gasket before drinks

And it would be the most stupid selection to pick Cummins and not play him. He'd be better off in the shield if that were the case.

I like they way the curator has kindly built in Starceh's foot marks into the pitch from this end.

Garreh says I'll bowl from the far end thanks.
Who doesn't say "It'll do a bit early" when they see a deck on the morning of a match? Even on astro.

Looks like they've left some moisture in it so it holds together. Will be dry by tomorrow though. Can't wait.

There was that one astro pitch where the locals had helpfully burnt a wheely bin on a good length. Did a bit early.

Almost guaranteed at this stage. Poor Bird.
tbf Bird would make a great stand in for Haze, but I can appreciate why they'd want to go for something else.

Don't necessarily agree though. Bit 50/50 on it. As Haze showed being there or thereabouts consistently isn't a bad idea on these pitches. Bird could easily grab some important poles.

But then you see the Shield footage of Cummins bowling fast at the sticks. 150 clicks at middle stump and not bouncing above ankle height? India might regret killing the bounce if there are still some cracks or spots that Cummo can get it to jump from. That **** is awful to try and play. Haze also won't mind balls staying low and nor will SOK. It's only really Lyon that is disadvantaged by low bounce.
