91Jmay's reaction, right or wrong, probably does prove that we should just get neutral umpires so not only is there no national bias, but there is no perception of national bias.
So if Aus are playing a WC final and if Taufel was an active umpire, he shouldn't officiate? Just have a little trust ffs.

Only if the umpire in the middle asks the player to stay while they check. The 3rd umpire doesn't do it by himself.
Partially incorrect, 3rd umpire can flag it as well to on field umpire. I can't say for certain what happened in this case.

Can't help but feel they are pissing it up the wall batting Buttler at 6 in ODIS and T20s. Nothing but a vanity exercise from Morgan and whoever. Are we really better off having Stokes and Morgan batting above Buttler? They are basically saying that Buttler is there to hack a few at the end and we don't trust him anymore than that. Morgan's a middling international player these days and only getting worse. Buttler should be on the rise but he needs the experience and responsibility of batting higher to truly reach his full potential. Then again Dhoni scored plenty of runs from 6 so maybe I'm wrong
Might've got it wrong this time, but I've been generally impressed with how fluid and adaptable Englands batting order has been recently.

But the 3rd umpire doesn't do it every time like you suggest. Only if there is a review or for some reason or the other they go upstairs. In most cases it's the on field umpire who asks the player to wait because they suspect the ball bowled might be a no-ball.

No, for no balls the 3rd umpire will check and often signal to the on field umpire. Both can be a reason a no ball is checked.

Comms say all the time "the 3rd umpire wants to check" as they have his communication line in their ear piece.

3rd Umpire was Indian too though
I didn't make any point about the Stokes bowled and none of this has any bearing on on field umpires letting Kohli scream at them + making 3 blatant incorrect decisions. I am sorry the Yujrav one is the most plumb LBW you will ever seen not given.

It's like people have forgotten the reason we have neutral umpires in Tests.

If he makes a mistake 91jmay will stink up the joint.. So the better option is to have neutral umpires.
And if a Pak umpire gave one of our guys out, we will go after him too. So neutral umpires are good idea but the way we think should change first. And we should stop having a waa at every bad call.

Yeah it's a good point. I remember the ICC bringing in neutral umpires before I was born because of my future posting on a forum that hadn't been invented hosted by a medium also not invented.

See, this has happened before. Kohli's a douchebag. I still remember the time he just stood at the crease when he got out and glared at the umpire until he decided to check for a no-ball.

Kohli's just a dick, and he needs to be brought in line by a referee asap. But I don't think him being Indian has anything to do with it.

Perhaps I am in the wrong tbf, I need thejedibrah or gnaske to come and agree with me so we can be sure though.

Subpar umpires being bullied by dicks like Kohli. Problem for England is that they don't have a dick to pressure the umpires.

Oi Indian fellas.

What needs to be done with this Indian T20 batting line-up. Right now it just feels off by a long way. If the T20 World Cup was played tomorrow, what would your top 7 be?
