And they grew up watching Lillee. I feel like ever since then Australia have been much better at appealing than other countries. It is kind of an art form to convince the umpire without annoying him.

I don't think running down the pitch and not appealing until he's realised he's gonna have to turn around is much of an art form.

I've been really disappointed. I was one of his biggest supporters and was getting repeatedly annoyed that he wasn't being selected, but he hasn't even looked good let alone made some decent scores.
Right and it's been kind of a given that he really needed to make runs because he wasn't making the sorts of contributions elsewhere that you expect a top-order batsman to make in an ODI in the field. He'd have to be under pressure from Lynn when he comes back.

More like 'Worst Fielding Performance of the Decade'.

This is where most sub-continental sides go wrong

Love Waqar waxing lyrical there.
I like Waqar. Married an Aussie girl I think. Gotta say since Nicko left NEIN Waqar is about the only comm I listen to.

Bout time Zampa played a match and what a difference he made. Quicks struggled on that road but his clever leggies had the Paks in all sorts.

Warner rested and Khawaja dumped from Chappell/Hadlee Kiwi tour. Finch back.

Agree Paks were shocking and the Aussies were not that much better. Odd as the heat could not be blamed as it was a rather mild day.

With good reason:

Most of the leading bowlers in terms of successful appeals are Australian quicks. And Warne had better appeal stats than most of his spinning contemporaries.
