Hull sack Phelan. Odd timing, just when they were playing decently after a full season of horrific direness.

Lot of people pointing out that they're not picking up that many more points than they used to. But now they take points off other big teams far more. Days of Lads, it's Tottenham are over.

Spurs are really good.
Yeah they really are. When they play like this it's hard to think of anyone who could beat them. Will be interesting to see how long that kind of performance can be sustained. Not the biggest squad.

Pochetino will flog them into the ground and they'll fall to bits in April and May. They have a good first XI but **** all depth.

Why is a director of Arsenal letting his company buy the rights to the Everton training ground unless he is thinking of selling his shares and going to Everton himself?

Seems a bizarre move, does anyone else have naming rights for their training grounds?

What do the Arsenal fans think of this?

Anyone watching the Everton v Leicester cup tie tomorrow might well see a lot of green and white in the stands. Loads of us (well into three figures at least) are going to that match tomorrow and then Liverpool v Plymouth on Sunday. I've never spent a whole weekend in Liverpool before - I might have to try out the ferry and the spot where Paul McCartney had his first shag.

Couldn't care less about the name of a training ground, quite honestly.

The naming rights of literally anything on the planet are not worth thinking about.
It was discussed on the TRFC forum yesterday and I think people agreed with me: give naming rights to whatever you want except the Johnny King Stand
