*Official* English Football Season 2016-17

That doesn't literally mean 'after December 25th', this round of games is clearly part of the Christmas/festive schedule.

January (and by January I mean once the festive season ks over and people are back at school/work) is where people reign in their spending/drinking/going out after over indulging over Christmas/December. The weather still being shite and cold plays a part, once this round of games is out the way it would be the perfect opportunity to have a 2-3 week break.

Ah yes, these words that have a clear and concise meaning obviously don't mean this clear and concise meaning, they have the meaning that I personally ascribed to them and didn't tell you about. Now I must scold you for not knowing my headcanon re: these formerly very clear words.

If you click the link sledger provided then it talks about the fixtures played 'over Christmas'. As there were no fixtures played on the 25th itself then it's clear that there's a broader definition of 'Christmas' than just referring to Christmas Day itself.

Just got in at HT and seen the replays - Glad to see Mike Deans playing for us today. ****ed that red card up, if anything Jones is lucky not to be booked for it

Haha fine, but if you look at the attendances for this period for the last ten years or so I doubt they are on average any lower than at any other time of year. I suspect, in fact, this is another one of those assertions/numbers you have just pulled out of thin air, as you have been known to do from time to time.

Still really liking how much sense Mourinho's subs make. It was obviously a game for Rashford to come on so it's hardly a stroke of genius but LVG would definitely have swapped the full backs then brought Fellaini on.

There is a rumour going around that Jose is good at coaching.

They seem to have set up as if expecting a much easier game. Nobody tracking the full back.

Tbf that one day turnaround is really tough. Not really any worse than we were yesterday, but Bournemouth are playing very well.
