Gambhiring this far out, good lord Shri.

If Renshaw reaches 50 at all on that tour I'll be surprised to say the least, then again if Jennings can leave India with a 40+ average who knows. I'll also be surprised if Handscomb doesn't get manhandled by Jadeja.
I didn't say they were a threat. You will still lose 4-0 but they might annoy us for a few hours.

Renshaw's upper body is really long and he has a bit of flab. Like a buffy Ashwin. I'll call him the Professor/Doctor depending on my mood from now on.

*** Yeah Renshaw!

Just got back from work, can I just issue this,

**** you Shane Warne and **** you Ian Chappell, slagging the kid off for going at a strike rate of 38 while Warner scores a ****ing century in a single session at the other end. ****ing abominable.
Yes, radio comms were semi guilty of it too. Stuff like that infuriates me. Stay in and bat big. Whether the hundred comes either side of the lunch break is pretty meaningless really.

Heading to the ground tomorrow fellas. It's been a long time since I've been able to go so I'm fairly pumped. You can spy me amongst the other 500 Richies

Bring one of your towels with 'towelled' written on it and wave it whenever there's a boundary

"If its good enough for the best Waugh, its good enough for you."

Waaah Jr: I don't know that guy.

Other comms: We know.

Frankly, if the pitches for the Australia series are as flat as the ones we gave England, Warner is going to be a massive worry too. I can easily see him scoring a run a ball 150 if we serve up a rajkot like pitch to him.
He'll be studying our bowlers in his OLED tv.

I'm not suggesting he attempt to slog Wahab over mid-on, he just needs to get better at rotating the strike. It happened in the Boxing Day test as well, he seems pretty susceptible to getting bogged down.
There is no such thing as scoring too slowly in the first session of a Test match.

Even if that is true - I don't agree but that's not necessarily important - my point stands; he needs to get better at rotating the strike early in his innings. He's going to get himself in trouble when he plays better attacks on tougher decks if he doesn't.

It hasn't stopped him so far in his career. He plays the same way in First Class cricket.

Agree. Just because he's played a magnificent innings here doesn't mean he has nothing to work on.

No one's saying that though are they? We all complimented him on how he switched up gears, and his work on getting more runs on the off side is noticeable. No 20 year old is the finished product, but damn this kid looks like he's got some fantastic tools to build on. I can't remember a 20 year old with his temperament for a start. The wild swing in Melb is about the only time he's looked uncontrolled.
