Ofcourse, it's not.

Karun Nair got a triple FFS as his maiden ton! That tells us all we need to know.. That triple barely felt like a triple.. Run-scoring has become too easy with all the advancements & changes & p*** poor conditions. Need to seriously address the balance b/w bat & bowl.

Perhaps they bring in standardised bats, and for a start have everyone bat with similar kind of willows and ones that aren't so unfair on bowlers, where even top edges fly for six..
Standardize the bats and make everyone bat with one like the one Viv Richards used to use.

Yet we're getting way more wins compared to draws than we've ever done in the past. What does that suggest?

*** Yeah Renshaw!

Just got back from work, can I just issue this,

**** you Shane Warne and **** you Ian Chappell, slagging the kid off for going at a strike rate of 38 while Warner scores a ****ing century in a single session at the other end. ****ing abominable.

This really needs to be said. I didn't listen to the commentary so not sure exactly what they said but it sounds disgraceful.

I'm actually disappointed Renshaw accelerated as much as he did tbh because it annoyingly gives the warnes and chappels more ammunition to justify their own bullshit. I'd have been delighted if he'd ended the day at 140* with the thoroughly middling sr of 45.

Was after lunch, Warne went on a long spiel about how Renshaw was occupying the crease (a bad thing in test cricket allegedly) and not taking singles (despite the fact he was) which Chappeli joined in with as much glee as he's capable of.

Bet there were no complaints when Usman and Smith got out cheaply.

Is it just me who thinks that scoring a test 100 is not as challenging as it used to be say 10 years ago? Not taking away anything from Renshaw here.
Just you on the ten years. Say twenty years ago and everyone would agree with you.

Australia are so, so good at home.

Pakistan's fielding today was brutal at times. Australia were allowed to run far too many threes, and there seemed to be a couple of midfields in each session. If you needed an indication of how up they were for this match...

Before you blow smoke up their asses, remember this is the team that lost to South Africa when they had their highest wicket taker and best all time bowler injured within the first innings of the first game.

Players to be wary of as an Indian fan in a few weeks:

Renshaw
Smith
Handscomb
Frankly, if the pitches for the Australia series are as flat as the ones we gave England, Warner is going to be a massive worry too. I can easily see him scoring a run a ball 150 if we serve up a rajkot like pitch to him.

Will be interesting to see where India go with this, just prepare normal pitches or sell their soul and give it the dustbowl treatment.

Gambhiring this far out, good lord Shri.

If Renshaw reaches 50 at all on that tour I'll be surprised to say the least, then again if Jennings can leave India with a 40+ average who knows. I'll also be surprised if Handscomb doesn't get manhandled by Jadeja.

Wish we could train this "Make runs whenever you can" mentality into our NZ batsmen, that's the thing your guys have in spades, they're no where near the talent of some of our guys, but they don't give away the advantage once they've got it.
This is one of the funniest posts I've read.

Massive difference between playing in December and Feb/March. It will be hotter, the pitches will be used and it will probably turn more.
