Neesham might as well hit out, surely that arm will stiffen up and make batting very difficult before long.

Surprising that aus got blanked 0-5 in SA just a month back

Their ODI lineup is solid with powerful hitters all the way n they do have quality bowlers in any situations

I still hate this tactic, and still feel we've put ourselves out of the match

But credit to Neesham - he's shown enough here to be persisted with as a batting only option in this side.

How come in cricket metronome means consistent but in pokemon it means something random each time

I can get why people might not necessarily think that this is the best tactic from this pair, but at least they're still in the match.

Accelerating right away and being 4 or 5 down for 100 doesn't do them much good. Batsman have just played their game.

Any slim chance we have basically sits with team Colin now. Nice-ish innings from Neesham - the first 40 odd balls were really poor though, wasted so many deliveries.

So, Watling can't bat in this condition, it needs to either be Munro, De Grandhomme or a pinch hitting Henry.

The problem is you've left 10.6 an over for anyone following after you, as was bound to happen when a wicket gets dismissed.

So you've either got to hope they play a Travis Head blinder, or they're gifted several free hits like Marsh to get their innings started, something you can't count on.

After 30 overs Oz were 160ish for 1.

The trouble is I can't see us having innings like Head and Marsh

Problem is we don't have any proven ODI finishers at all right now, where it's typically been a strength. Need a couple of players to come through,

ugh what's channel 9 doing with the bowling columns? head's figures were like 0-31-7-17 or something which worked out to be wickets-runs-overs-dot balls. disgusting

You've got a bunch of hitting in the bottom order, the problem is that you're asking them to do it from ball one.

Poor shot option there, really need to be swivelling that to the leg side with the length the Aussies are bowling, just like they were tanking our bowlers.
