If you can sum up say Travis Head vs James Neesham - both trying to establish themselves in the side.

Head played to dominate and was positive in both of his innings that he could take the bowling on
Neesham plays to survive, and to not fail.

A question for all the "knowledgeable" posters here. The ones with tens of thousands of posts. Has any team chased down a total this big after being 100/2 after 20 overs?

I think people are so anti Williamson due to him being shoved down their throats in this forum, I honestly don't believe any of the other players (QDK, Kohli, Smith, ABDV) would be playing this way in this sort of chase.
I doubt anyone here would ever have said KW would be as likely in chasing a huge score like this than any of those 4 names you mentioned if we're honest. KW is more a 250-320 type chaser.

Incidentally, how mouthwatering a prospect is QDK setting out in a chase for 380 score on this wicket.

Yes, no ***** play from QDK. de Kock has some balls!

Good to see us avoiding Pakistan's mistake, by securing the draw before we push for the win.

I guess the only positive is that this NZ ODI team has a lot of injuries so it has exposed some of the younger/new players to the highest quality ODI cricket which can only help in the long run.

Every cloud....

I agree with the injury part. I'd really have like to see Williamson and Taylor batting right now. However I am of the opinion we should not expose young cricketers to a hostile environment. I think it would do more damage than good.
