There's been some filthy dismissals for England this year but Root and Ali's today could well make the top 10.

There's been some filthy dismissals for England this year but Root and Ali's today could well make the top 10.
Mo might be a good option for the top 5 in Asia but next winter in Australia he has to be back down at 7 or 8 as he will be a walking wicket the way he plays the short ball.

Buttler hit five fifties in his first 8 tests and averaged 50. He hit 0 fifties in his next 8, averaging 16. It's tempting to think of Buttler as unsuited to Tests but you can just as easily put his bad run down to form at the time. And it was a year ago, so

I just don't see how England can justify keeping Mo in the side to be honest, he's so bits and pieces and when you've got another (admittedly performing massively well at the moment) bits and pieces cricketer in Stokes, it weakens both the bowling and the batting at the same time.

I know his career is over, but I refuse to believe that Ian Bell isn't in the Top 6 batsmen in England at the moment.
