Yeah I get that but Yadav isn't a spinner who's gonna be a factor on a pitch that isn't spinning like this one. I'd rather have Jadeja bowling from the rough, and then he would be bowling to Rashid as well.

Yeh, won't happen though.

Why is playing a 4th seamer pointless, especially when your third spinner is as bad as Ansari? Woakes probably would have bowled more than Ansari's 12 overs, for less than the 44 runs he conceded, with more chance of taking a wicket too. The issue over who bats at 4 is just a bad joke. How did Balance get recalled to the side? How did he get picked for the winter after his performances against Pakistan in the summer? How did he get picked for the squad AGAIN after Bangladesh? It gets better. How is Duckett in the team without being able to play the forward defence? It's got to the stage where we may as well pick Buttler at 4 despite doing nothing in 1st Class cricket for goodness knows how long because, well, he can't do any worse.
