not Usman but ahead of Mitch Marsh, yep - in a heartbeat
Surely M.Marsh has to string together a few decent scores with the bat in the coming season? He balances the side but you would like everyone in your top six being capable of scoring a 100.

Anyone else in the running for the all rounder spot? Or any batsman who are capable part timers?

The incumbent Test No.5 should get a go at 6, But not following up yesterday's big TPC/KPat partnership isn't gonna help him. Good Matador though. Hopefully he can put a score up in the 2nd dig and maybe pick up a pole or two to remind the selectors that he is what they're hoping MMarsh might become in a few years.

Wow, we're going to get a box of Warne, KP and Clarke aren't we? ...And press mute.
Clarke won't be able to get a word in edgeways against those two.
It's a Warne, KP and Slater or Healy combo that would do it for me.

Proteas 477/8 against a South Australia B side, hundreds for Elgar and du Plessis. 97 for de Kock.

Good stuff. We just need Cook to get some runs now even though he got a 97* for the Lions before he left for Australia. Hopefully a chance in the 2nd dig.

Now we know Starc is on restricted overs before the Test it is obviously Siddle who is in the test team and Bird isn't, given the number of overs each has bowled.

Concerned with Cook's form. But Australia is just trolling them by fielding sides like these in warm up games
It’s all been a bit too easy for them and the softening up started with the prank attack Australia sent to the Republic. They can't get over complacent, and if they lose the toss at Perth, more than likely Warner and co. will finish the first day with 350+ on the board and they are up against it straight away.

At the rate the home teams are winning tosses, the chances of that happening is indeed very high...and that will go a long way in determining the series IMO
