Good catch that.
Hameed must be close to playing in the next test.

Samit Patel was talked about like this for ages but the evidence never really came through in internationals.Ah ok. I was thinking that surely with so many counties playing at a competitive level, there are a couple of bats under say 33 who show good footwork and would be a chance of performing well in these type of conditions. In Australia, right or wrong Peter Handscomb gets talked about as quality against spin so is being talked about as a bolter next time we tour the sub-cont. Fair enough if there is no-one better.
looks a long ****ing way off right nowHow big a lead do England need to be favourites? 240?
I think 200 will be enough - Batty will surely bowl better in the second inningslooks a long ****ing way off right now
Yeah true, Taylor was quality against spin and would have been really handy at bat pad too.Basically Taylor was the one we were all looking at earlier in the year as someone who had to tour no matter what happened in the summer with him and circumstances took over there.
We definitely do not need 6 bolters next time we tour the sub-cont.Well, you need at least five more like him.
Wouldn't bank on that but I would imagine 200 will be enough. Pitch will be even harder to bat on tomorrow.I think 200 will be enough - Batty will surely bowl better in the second innings
Batty'll bowl better but bet on better batting.I think 200 will be enough - Batty will surely bowl better in the second innings
I don't actually think this, I just enjoyed plying with sounds for a minuteBatty'll bowl better but bet on better batting.
I trust there will be a faultless enunciation of this on the podcast tomorrowBatty'll bowl better but bet on better batting.
Gut feeling is that any side defending 200 in the last innings in the next 2 months of tests will be favourites given the pitches we will be on.After having bowled out the BAngladesh lower order cheaply I didn't think I would be sitting here trying to decide on 'minimum defendable target' but here we are
200 should be more than enough, it's Bangladesh. Anyway, England's batting only wakes up after the first 3-4 wickets have fallen. How big a lead do England need to be favourites? 240?
Suspense over surprise, innitI know I'm largely preaching to the converted in this thread, but how can anyone prefer T20 to this?

This doesn't have DFL maximums.I know I'm largely preaching to the converted in this thread, but how can anyone prefer T20 to this?
What is a DFL maximum? This doesn't have DFL maximums.
Yeah, they are. No longer relying on two or three players they have five or six proper good players and it all about getting a winning mentality.Bangladesh are getting better though.. they need to find a way to win one Test match in these conditions against a non-minnow and I get a feeling the monkey will be off their back and they'll rack up a few more.
