CorrectI suspect the first bit is all he cares about right now.
Mowbray? Not as bad as the start to this season made out.I am delighted he has gone, if he had stayed much longer I am certain we would have been relegated now I think if we make the right appointment we have a decent chance of staying up. Be interesting to see what our goalkeeping coach does this weekend with them and what system they play. We had a different set of tactics week to week and the players looked lost half the time as we could play numerous formations in the same game. You might be able to get away with that in the top flight with good players but not lower league ones.

Klopp is doing ridiculous amounts of ad work these daysThis is brilliant
These 2 teams play each other so often and are present on British TV so much, it doesn't have the same feel it did when I was a kid.La Liga's recent trend of deliberately clashing big La Liga games with PL matches has now extended to El Classico.
When were you a kid? Spanish football has been regularly broadcast on UK TV for the best part of 20 years now. These 2 teams play each other so often and are present on British TV so much, it doesn't have the same feel it did when I was a kid.
I was going to say, it's not like the Ashes where they can just decide to play extra. Just happens that they might come across each other in the CL, which was obviously not possible a generation agoI think they played each other twice last season. In other words, the same amount of times everyone plays everyone.
When Real Madrid won the Champions Cup 5 times in the 50s they beat Barcelona in a semi final.I was going to say, it's not like the Ashes where they can just decide to play extra. Just happens that they might come across each other in the CL, which was obviously not possible a generation ago
Plus they quite often meet in the Cup.I think they played each other twice last season. In other words, the same amount of times everyone plays everyone.
Yeah, okay it was possible, just much more unlikely, whereas now they are both in it every yearWhen Real Madrid won the Champions Cup 5 times in the 50s they beat Barcelona in a semi final.
Pretty sure I'm right in saying that Barcelona were also the first team to beat Real Madrid in the European Cup, in the first year where it was not won by Real. Think Barca went on to lose the final to Benfica. When Real Madrid won the Champions Cup 5 times in the 50s they beat Barcelona in a semi final.
I'm not bored of watching the matches. I do get sick of the build up and forced "romance" of it all though.AFAIC if you're bored of El Clasico you're bored of football.
