What do you think of the theory that the Rocky series is a way of letting white Americans beat the Muhammed Ali copy who also doesn't have the scary black power name change
I've loved the Rocky movies since I was a kid, watched them all dozens of times. A few years ago it dawned on me what you are talking about...........devastated.

The bowling is woeful in austalia county cricket
Nah, I took into consideration the bowlers he was facing when I made my point. This is one example where I thought he seemed like a sensible bat who was naturally aggressive but could reign it in a bit in tricky conditions. Yep, sure it is only a 33* and 26, but I recall a good half century in the Matador too.

Put it this way, what Tremain did today, I feel like Zampa should be able to do that and Tremain I expected to perform how Zampa has.

a theory more correct than even evolution

Good bowling performance... excellent from Abbott and Shamsi nice to see the second string look so good. QDK also getting better at DRS.

QDK is in such exquisite form atm.....

interestingly, those who would most disagree with the Rocky theory also likely believe that evolution is a lie created by the leader of the socalist, gay, Muslim atheists Barrack HUSSEIN Obama

Is Rocky's beard in IV meant to represent his fall from humanity in his quest for vengeance by presenting the internal decay of his moral character in the physical realm?

Yes, though I don't know what the robot represents.

I know expectations were low for Oz coming into this series because of the understrength bowling attack, but to lose as badly as they have is quite startling in the context of how they’ve gone in this format under Lehmann – until this series they hadn’t lost more than two in a row since 2012.

Australia’s record as a ODI side long-term over the past 30 years or so is pretty remarkable in its high standards. Just thinking to a time when Australia were a consistently poor ODI side, you’d probably have to go to the 18 months post-WC 1996 when the side struggled home & away and were burdened with a captain who clearly couldn’t justify his spot in the side anymore. They had a bad patch early in 2009 but they recovered so quickly they were to win the Champions Trophy later that year.

I seriously don't reckon CA cares a jot right now tbh. Take nothing away from SA, they've smacked Australia this series and deserve to win. All that will happen is the ranking spots might change and people who care about that in ODIs will do a load over it, while CA gets the cleaners in to polish up the WC trophy and quietly scratches a few names off the list for the 2019 tourney.

Great to see such a big & boisterous crowd in Port Elizabeth. Infact, it's great just to see a crowd in general in RSA.

The crowds for the SA-England ODI series was good too. Looks like ODI cricket has solid ground in South Africa. That in some way justifies a bilateral ODI series like this

Big news that Piedt has been left out and Maharaj and Shamsi are both in.
Rossouw reserve batsman.
Vilas reserve keeper.

“Shamsi has made huge progress over the course of the last year in the longer format,” commented CSA selection convener Linda Zondi. “He took 41 wickets at an average of less than 20 in seven matches in last season’s Sunfoil Series and he certainly offers something different as an attacking spinner.

“Maharaj is also right on top of his game. He took 13 wickets in the Sunfoil Series match at the weekend and also made a run-a-ball 72.

“Basically, we are following a horses for courses policy as we feel that spinners who turn the ball away from the right-hander are going to be particularly useful under Australian conditions and against the test batsmen we are likely to face.

“I am excited about the cover we have in this area with a wrist spinner and a left-arm orthodox spinner, with JP Duminy able to offer the right-arm variety as well.

“Rilee Rossouw has earned his batting place also with good form in last season’s Sunfoil Series and he is also on top of his game at the moment,” Zondi concluded.
