Super stoked for Dave Miller. Let's not forget how gun he has been in the field this series as he has always been good but he has raised it another level that guys like Faf, Duminy and Rossouw are a rung below. Two strings to his bow is crucial because he is that good in the field.
Exciting to see young guys like Andile step up. Probably want to see Shamsi get a game or two now.

True to an extent, but when the par run-rate for both sides was close to 8s, and Smith used more than one-third of his sides deliveries to score at 6s, that's quite a difference. Can only think it was an absolute belter of a pitch.

I look at the scorecard, see that Warner and Smith made 100s, and just think "meh they should have done it faster". Back in the day 100 runs was a big deal, even if it took 130+ balls. These days it takes a 70 ball ton or 160+ to have any real impact for me.
Depends on conditions of course, but seems like a high proportion of ODIs these days are played in 350 par conditions.

I keep thinking "yeah but all our good bowlers are injured and rested". But when you think about, this bowling attack is what we'll be left with if our best 7-8 bowlers do end up injured at the same time, which could actually potentially happen given their history.
when Steyn goes for 96 in an ODI, fair bet it's a belter

Glad Miller is living up to some of his potential. I've always been surprised by his relatively poor performances in ODIs.
