Are we really going to blame bad light for that woeful batting display? Time to accept that it's KW or nothing for us now.

Bad light was a legit complaint yesterday. To be honest, if all teams were full of decent humans like NZ, we could just take their word on bad light instead of relying on light meters. But if such a system was followed, you just know that ****s like Broad, Anderson etc would abuse the **** out of such a system when it suits them.

Hmm i really should have checked the stats for this season for him. Just assumed he was doing as well as he did last season.

It's not an excuse, we were already in trouble at 80-4. But that period of play pretty much ended this match as a contest. Bad luck more than anything, having to go out there with nothing to gain and plenty to lose for 40 mins.

Yeah they are, it's just that the earliest you can start now is 15 minutes early. They changed the rules on the (legitimately sensible) basis that it's better for the players to have two 2:15 sessions than one 2:30 session. Of course that's assuming that there's any prospect of the the second 2:15 session being completed.
