New Zealand don't have a single overseas series booked for the next 2 years, so currently there's nothing to clash with his commitment to Warwickshire. The whole programme is bilateral now though, so that could change at fairly short notice.

Hmm so we've got to hope he'll take a liking to the very strong NZ dollar, maybe surprisingly accept a contract from NZC and commit to their white ball campaigns, if we want to see more of him.

Great to see Patel get these runs, I thought the backlash he got in the media for his last batting performance was way over the top. Sure, his batting approach didn't work well and looked terrible, but a) he's not in the side as a batsman, and b) all our batsmen were atrocious that tour as well.
