He won't be playing so its a moo point. Pujara just made that unbeaten 250 in domestic. No way is he not going to play after that.

Yea Jono's not wrong about it being a lose/lose scenario, but to suggest that's an acceptable excuse for Nohit to get out for just 18 is a bizarre point tstl.
I literally didn't excuse his poor score. But let's not pretend if he got 150 he'd not have been called a flat track bully on here.

I am tbh. Craig's shown he can be threatening in favourable conditions when he's not getting belted. If he's bowling well enough to not get belted against a batting lineup seemingly well capable of it, I think that's a good sign.
Yup

I suggest reading the match report on cricinfo from someone who watched the day's play. According to them Sodhi was the most impressive spinner... Scorecard reading isn't going to tell you everything.
Cricinfo match reports often get suckered into the ***y turn tho.

I do agree with you that southee being out is a huge loss.

Being mocked for being a ftb is better than getting out to Ish Sodhi though. Basically anything is better than getting out to Ish Sodhi

Nothing wrong with getting out to ish as he can produce good deliveries.

Everything wrong with getting stumped to a guy who delivers at least one freebie per over.

Bowling coach Jurgensen has damn near got Bracewell releasing a nice upright seam again, I'm hearing. Unless it's a joke at my expense, because I mention it to this person. Look for Dougeh to party like it's 2011 and take the new ball.

Hesson has said Guptill will get the 1st Test at least btw everyone. Hence no Ronchi batting opportunity on Friday.

Not sure this Dougeh intel isn't lies tbh, seeing Sodhi batted ahead of Mr. Future No. 6.

You had me frantically re-checking the Itinerary again since I'd cleared my Friday morning thinking it was starting Thursday night. Thankfully it is a Thursday start.

Friday, Friday, Dan wanted to see Ronchi on Friday. Apparently.

Latham instead saw Guptill at the weak end.

Yeah if Bracewell was going to play he would've batted IMO.
